At SHOT Show 2024, GunsAmerica visited the Burris booth for a peek at their updated lineup of Veracity PH scopes. Josh from Burris walked us through the new features and improvements.
The 4-20x50mm Veracity PH model, already popular for a few years, now sports the new Apex design. This update includes changes to the knurling and a distinctive red ring. Additionally, Burris listened to customer feedback and added illuminated reticles to these models.
The lineup now includes an RC (rapid cross) reticle, enhancing the scopes’ versatility. The introduction of illuminated reticles addresses one of the original version’s drawbacks.
The scopes come in various power ranges, including a 3-15x44mm model with side focus, and a 2.5-12x42mm model. The 4-20 model, the most extensive in the series, has been shortened and lightened, making it more suitable for hunting.
All models feature zero stops on the turrets and smooth PĒK (Programmable Elevation Knob) knobs. The capped windage is a significant addition, particularly beneficial for hunting scopes.

These scopes are front focal plane (FFP), allowing users to maintain wind holds and holdovers at any power setting, unlike second focal plane scopes.
Currently, the scopes are available in MOA measurement, with plans for a MIL version in the future.
The scopes are expected to ship soon, with the top model, the 4×20, priced around $1,100. This pricing positions the new Veracity pH scopes as an attractive option for hunters.
The updated Veracity PH scopes from Burris offer hunters lighter, shorter scopes with more features at a competitive price point. For more information on these scopes, visit Burris’ website.
