Diamondback, unveiled its latest offering at SHOT Shows Industry Range Day —an ultra lightweight 357 six-shot revolver. Cody from Diamondback shared the details of this new addition, which has generated some interest within the industry.
Weighing in at 21.2 ounces, Diamondback’s new revolver is noteworthy for its lightweight design. Equipped with fiber optic front and rear sights, it aims to enhance accuracy and target acquisition for shooters. Cody refrained from mentioning specific other competitor weights but did claim to have “the lightest on the market.”
The SDR has a compact frame, two-inch barrel and six shot cylinder that are machined from premium stainless steel. The revolver operates with a single or double-action mechanism and a 9lb trigger pull, providing a controlled shooting experience. Additionally the SDR’s J Frame grip makes it easy to change to extended grips and find holsters to fit.
