We met with Mike from SIG Sauer to explore the P365-AXG Legion, a recent addition to the market that’s been available for about two months. Despite its recent launch, many have yet to see this model in person.

The P365-AXG Legion, as Mike explained, is essentially the X-Comp with a significant upgrade – an aluminum grip and frame.

The model features G10 Chevron grips and an extended magwell, both praised for their exceptional texture and feel. The G10 grips, in particular, offer a different and improved feel compared to plastic.

At the core of this model is the P365 slide, complete with a built-in two-port compensator seamlessly integrated with the slide.

This design contributes to recoil mitigation, enhancing the shooting experience. The P365-AXG Legion stands out for its slim profile, making it ideal for concealed carry, yet it boasts a 17-round magazine capacity, striking a balance between compactness and firepower.

Not a bad looking carry gun.

SIG offers this model in both polymer and aluminum, with the latter providing a distinctly premium feel. The aluminum version has garnered attention for its comfortable and tactile grip.

Another notable feature is the optic-ready slide with enhanced serrations, maintaining the rear sight even when a red dot is installed. This model also includes XRAY Night Sights for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

The P365-AXG Legion is part of SIG’s LEGION family, known for its emphasis on quality, innovation, and performance. The model sports a Legion Cerakote Finish, adding to its sleek appearance. The gun comes with three 17-round magazines, ensuring ample capacity for various situations.

SIG’s P365 AXG Legion positions itself as not just another carry gun but as the epitome of carry pistols.
