The new HyperXP405 is built around Barnett’s Hyperflite arrows, the reduced diameter means less wind drift and greater penetration. The XP405 feels more like a rifle when you pick it up than a bow. When cocked it is only 10 inches from axle to axle and the bow balances really well in the hands.
The stock is adjustable to fit a wide variety of shooters and the 4 x 32 illuminated scope puts you right on target. The bow has Barnett’s nock sensing Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) System.
One of the sweetest features of the new Barnett bows is the TriggerTech 3-pound zero-creep trigger. That trigger takes crossbows into the realm of match rifle shooting.
The narrow composite limbs launch the Hyperlite arrows at a very respectable speed of 405 feet per second for a flatter trajectory and less drift. With the balance and feel of the XP405 it makes for an easy transition for rifle shooters to extend their hunting into archery season.
The XP405 includes the scope, 2 Hyperlite arrows, side mounted quiver, rope cocking device all for an MSRP of $599.
