We stopped by the Staccato booth during Range Day and spoke with David, Staccato’s Chief Marketing Officer. He introduced us to their brand new offering, the Staccato C.

The slide is back and the front of the bull barrel is reveled, tapering from thick at the front to thinner at the rear. "Staccato C" is engraved on the frame under the barrel.
The new bull barrel is just 4.0 inches long.

David explained that the Staccato C, featuring a 4-inch barrel, is the second version of their V3 platform.

The grip safety is a staple of the 1911 platform.

Following the launch of the first edition last year, the Staccato C brings several key updates. It boasts a thicker bull barrel, enhancing durability and ensuring a flatter trajectory with its added weight.

Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Staccato C holds 16 rounds in each magazine.

This model is designed to be incredibly versatile. Initially launching with a compact grip, the Staccato C also offers a full-size grip option, making it a great choice for duty, self-defense, and concealed carry.

  • It’s also set up for optics, as demonstrated with an AO Acro mounted on the model showcased

David announced that the Staccato C would be available this summer, both online and through dealers. As for the price point, it’s set at $2,599.

Serrations fore and aft provide plenty of grip for charging, and the front sight is fiber optic.

I had the chance to get a feel for the Staccato C myself. It features a rail for mounting lights and a heavy fluted bull barrel, adding to its overall functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The pistol will come optic-ready, but without a rear sight pre-mounted, offering flexibility for customization based on individual preferences.

The whole gun has a Diamon-Like Coating (DLC), which is both hard and durable as well as stain resistant.
