Wind drift also gets accounted for once you measure the wind speed. Either before the last step or now, you wave the kestrel around to get the air flowing through the sensors. Once done, it applies barometric pressure and temperature that it took using the on-board barometer and thermometer. Here, unlike the bigger units, the 2700 does not take relative humidity readings.
Once done, the 2700 gives you a ballistic solution for the required distance and you are then able to adjust and take the shot.
