Primary Arms has introduced two new riflescopes at SHOT Show, and each is worth taking a quick look at.

The PLxC 1-8×24 SFP (Second Focal Plane) Riflescope, with the ACSS NOVA Reticle, stands out for its ultra-compact size. It’s smaller and lighter than its predecessors, positioning it as one of the most compact variable optics available.

What are your thoughts?

This scope utilizes advanced fiber optics, providing a Red Dot Bright reticle for rapid target acquisition and impressive close-quarters performance. The premium Japanese-manufactured ED Glass ensures top-notch clarity, color fidelity, and brightness across the entire visual field.

In terms of technology, the PLxC represents the pinnacle of optical advancements. Key features include a cutting-edge optical design, Steel-on-Steel Interchangeable Turrets, and AutoLive technology.

This combination of features in a compact package makes the PLxC 1-8x24mm SFP a nice choice for shooters who need versatility and precision in a smaller, lighter form.

On the other hand, the SLx 1-10×28 Riflescope, also featuring the ACSS NOVA® Reticle, is designed for both close-quarters and mid-range engagements. It offers a significant 10x magnification ratio, allowing shooters to target objects at greater distances than typical low-power variable optics.

The SLx is also great for close-quarters situations.

Despite its powerful magnification, the SLx 1-10×28 maintains a compact size and light weight, essential for agility in close-quarters scenarios.

The scope’s 34mm body with a 28mm objective lens enhances the eyebox and image brightness, making it easier to maintain situational awareness. The addition of the Red Dot Bright ACSS NOVA reticle, now with fiber optic illumination, marks a significant upgrade, enhancing visibility and accuracy.

Both the PLxC and SLx scopes do not include mounts, allowing users to customize their setup according to their preferences and needs.

Primary Arms continues to innovate in the optics market, and these two new scopes – the PLxC 1-8×24 and SLx 1-10×28 – are testament to their commitment to quality. For those interested in exploring these new offerings, more information can be found on Primary Arms’ website.
