CZ’s 457 action has been the choice of competitive rimfire shooters for a long time. The CZ 457 is so smooth and tight.
But shooters have had to buy the gun, then remove the action and place it in an upgraded stock — like an MDT or Manners’ stock.
Now CZ is offering the 457 in .22LR with an MDT chassis or Manners’ stock out-of-the-box!
Manners’ Competition Stock
CZ fits the 457 action with a 16″ threaded barrel with the Manners’ stock. This carbon fiber composite stock is very stiff. It’s also Arca-ready with threaded mounts drilled in the forend.
Fitment for any shooter should be a breeze. The comb has lots of travel, and there are shims for adjusting the length of pull.
MDT ACC Premiere Chassis
Holy cow, the MDT ACC Premiere stock on its own is $1,300. It’s got a vertical grip and all kinds of M-Lok slots.
The butt stock is completely adjustable for comb height, length of pull, and even the height and cast of the butt pad.
Not only are there M-lok slots, but the entire forend is machined as an Arca-Swiss-compatible rail. You can rest this on a tripod with ease.

CZ includes a heavy 24″ barrel with the MDT chassis. This is a great training setup to match your centerfire rifle with the same chassis.
Both rifles host the CZ 457 MTR chamber, which is CZ’s best work. MSRP for both rifles is $1,899. These are truly competition-ready guns, and the package from CZ is cheaper than building it aftermarket. These are available now, but only 500 of each will be made.
