During Range Day at Shot Show 2024, we had the chance to catch up with Daniel from Henry USA, who introduced us to their latest innovation: the Lever Action Supreme.
This lever-action rifle sports unique features that set it apart from its predecessors while also making it similar to its modern sporting relatives.
The Lever Action Supreme comes with an internal hammer and a sealed-off design, making it a standout in the lever-action realm. Daniel highlighted the internal hammer and the linkage-driven rotary bolt that looks suspiciously similar to a Mil-Spec AR bolt which makes for an incredibly smooth action.
Available in .223 and 300 Blackout, it ships with a 10-round PMAG, a free-floated threaded barrel, and the classic Walnut finish that defines Henry rifles. The .223 offering will come with an 18″ barrel while the 300 blk model will come with a 16″ barrel.
The match-grade adjustable trigger has a weight ranging from 3.5 to 5.5 lbs, which adds another layer of customization for shooters. The rear sight is also adjustable for both windage and elevation.

If you want to add a scope rail for mounting an optic, the Lever Action Supreme accepts the same 63B Weaver rail that their other rifles use.
As for availability, Henry plans to start shipping within a month, with an expected MSRP under $1,400, but it is promised to be priced similarly to the Long Ranger. Even though the price isn’t finalized, there are a lot of people who want one of these in their hands, for good reason.
After shooting the gun, the Lever Action Supreme impressed us all with its smoothness and ease of operation. Again, this is thanks to the rotary bolt design that contributes to the rifle’s remarkably slick action. Finally, classic firearms meet modern technology.
